Seven Bar PTA
Looking for easy ways to help the school? These merchants have programs in place to help raise money for our school!
 |
Smith's Earn and Learn Program: Smith's sent 7-Bar's PTA over $1000 in the 2003-2004 school year, and that was with a limited number of participating families. Do you have a Smith's Fresh Values Card? Is it linked to 7-Bar Elementary as the "Earn & Learn" school? Designate Seven Bar Elementary as your “Earn & Learn” program participant, use your Fresh Values card when you shop, and Smith’s grocery will donate up to 5% of your total purchases to the school. You can designate our school card by calling 1-800-764-8897, or by filling out an enrollment form at the store. Each individual has to do this for his or her own card, and it must be re-enrolled each school year! For more information, visit their website. |

Albertson's Community Partners Program: If you shop at Albertson’s, you’ll want to pick up a Community Partners Card! How does it work? You simply show your card to the checker anytime PRIOR to totaling the order and Albertson's does the rest! At the end of each fiscal quarter, Albertson’s will total the supporters' purchases and donate a percentage of the dollar amount back to the school. The cards are available for pick up in the office. Stop by and get one, or have your child pick one up for you. What an EASY way to help the school. For more information, you can visit Albertson’s website. |

Target's "Take Charge of Education" program: From 2001 to Fall 2004, Seven Bar has received over $1200 from Target with only 76 families participating. If you enjoy shopping at Target, please designate Seven Bar Elementary as your school partner and Target will donate 1% of your Target Guest Card purchases, both from Target stores and Target.com. This is for charge card purchases only. If you already have a Target Guest Card, you can sign up for this program by calling 1-800-316-6142. If you will be applying for a new Target Guest Card, check the appropriate box on the application and add our school information. For more information, you can visit their website. |

General Mills Boxtops for Education: Cut out the Box Tops for Education logo on General Mills, Betty Crocker, Yoplait, and Lloyd’s barbeque products and bring them into the school. The school receives 10 cents for each box top collected! These logos can be found on popular products such as cereal boxes, fruit snacks and Go-Gurt. The money raised from this program will be used to purchase new equipment for the P.E. program. Those small clippings add up to BIG purchases! For more information, you can visit their website. |
 |
Campbell's Labels for Education: Collect labels from Campbell's soup, Prego, Swanson's, Pepperidge Farms, Pace and other products and bring them into the school. Our goal is to bring in 5000 labels. As of October 2004, we have over 4900 labels. We'd like to get some of the needed playground equipment through the Campbell's Free Stuff Labels for Education program. Participating is easy -- simply save those labels and bring them in to school! For more information, you can visit their website. |

Intel Employees Volunteer Time: Are you aware that as an Intel employee, Seven Bar can benefit from your volunteer hours? For every 20 hours of Intel employee volunteer time at Seven Bar, we can earn $200.00. That's easy money for our school for time you are already spending with us! All you need to do is report your hours at Intel's intranet site at http://services2.intel.com/iidatabase/main.asp. The 20 hours could be 10 different Intel employees who each volunteer 2 hours of time and log it in at the site above. Team up with other Intel Seven Bar parents and see how quick you can get to that 20 hour mark. As of October 2004, Seven Bar has yet to receive a check from this awesome program. Let's change that! Let us know via a note to your child's teacher, "ATTN: PTA," if you are determined as an Intel employee to get us over that 20 hour mark! Be sure to let us know so we can recognize you in the Wrangler. For more information, you can visit their website. |
